Did you do them?  Did you write down your SMART goals? Today I am going to cover breaking up your goals and working out some key items you can do to make sure you are successful.

So today lets break your time up into 3 months.  This is twelve weeks. Grab a pen and paper and write down from week 1 to week 12. In that week we have 7 days and each day is 24 hours.  Most business owners work 10 – 12 hours.  Put down a number that you are comfortable with.

I am going to break up your day into some things you can do from the moment you get up in the morning. So something positive like listen to this audio or to read something positive like a book.  Then also look at some of your Most Valuable Priorities (MVP’s) – what were some of your SMART goals. What are the top 2 or 3 things you are going to work on?

The key here is to work on breaking up your goals and working on your goals on a day to day and week to week basis, before your day becomes hectic. As soon as we open our email or when the phone starts ringing the day gets taken over. Start to focus on your goals first thing in the morning.

Another thing we can do is book end our day.  Book ends are the time you get up and the time you go to bed at night.

Break down your goals into the following:

  • 3 months
  • 12 weeks
  • week by week
  • day by day
  • hour by hour
  • MVP’s
  • health
  • wealth
  • business
  • SMART goals

You will achieve success 10 times faster than someone who does not have their goals written down.  This also reduces stress as you already know where you are going.

Each night plan for the next day.  Leave plenty of time to do this.
